Movie - X Men

Wow, went to watch x men yesterday. It's a great show, and it's closely connected to X men 2. So if you didn't watch x men 2, you won't know what's it showing. hee hee.

That Scott, in this movie, it seemed a little califare. Really, he just appeared in a few scenes, and then he's dead. It's very extra. He didn't even get to use his powers. Well, he did, and that he revives Jean Grey.

Speaking of Jean Grey, after Scott rescue her from the lake, she killed him. Actually she's got double personality, the 2nd personality she got is well hidden inside her by Professor X. When she got rescued, the 2nd personality unleashed and killed Scott.

Her 2nd personality power is far far greater than her own. It is uncontrolleable. It is that 2nd personality that killed not only Scott, but Professor X too. It's really sad.

That bad guy, Magneto (don't know how to spell), pulled her into his army to fight the government who produced a solution to "cure" mutants. Jean Grey's powers are far far more greater than Magneto and Professor X and is uncontrolable. There's this boy, who was kept in the labatory under some observance, his is also a mutant. His power is for other mutants' power won't work around him. When Magneto went to the lab trying to kill the boy, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Ice Man, Kitty and a Metal Man, helped government to stop the evil.

The lab was on a isolated island near the city, there's no road build to get to it. The only way is either by boat or a helicopter or plane. Magneto then used his powers to lift an end of a bridge and moved it towards the island. They used that bridge to get to the lab.

Kitty and a bad whose power is power head, they fight each other to get to the boy first. Kitty got there first and realised that her power won't work around the boy, wait for the power head to reach them. When the power head reached the room, he tried to use his head and smash the two into a wall, but they got out of the way, and the power head smashed into a wall. Normally he would be able to burst through a wall with his head, but his power won't work with the boy, so his head was smashed into the wall pretty hard and he lost consicousness. Kitty took the boy and head out of the way the power head had smashed his way through.

Wolverine tried to stop Magneto and was stopped by him. Little did Magneto knew, Wolverine was to keep him distracted, so that Beast could hit him with the "cure". Magneto had been cured. His mutant powers was destroyed.

Just as everything was coming to an end, the back up for the govt came. Jean was standing on top of a pile as they shot rains of "cure" needles to her. She used her powers and stopped and killed many people. Well, not really killed, but burst a living human into tiny pieces, just like she did to Professor X. Wolverine ordered Storm to get everyone out of the way, while he forced himself towards Jean to save her and the people. Finally, Jean was killed, and her powers that lifted the debris and water up, fell to the ground. Everyone is safe.

Rogue is upset that she couldn't touch anyone, especially her boyfriend Ice Man. So, when she heard about this "cure", she went on to take it.

At the end, the scene showed Magneto became a normal old man sitting down there playing chess. But, he was not. He was trying to make his mutant powers work again.

It's a nice show, but it's relatively short. It was a 6:30 show, and as usual, Golden Village with tons and tons of commercials, it was around 7pm when the actaul show starts. It ends at 8:30pm. It's short isn't it?

when the show started, the first scene was that they were in the middle of a war, but, it was only part of a lesson taught by Storm. The funny thing is that the scene was almost like the real battle at the labatory. Haa Haa.

My friend and I were talking about the show and she said, "why can't they put the boy, in the lab, beside Jean. So that her powers will not work." Well, quite true isn't it? hee hee.

KL trip

Yo Yo Yo! Back frm KL almost 2 weeks le, but always didn't gt e chance to update. Haha. Anyway, here I am, updating on my trip now. Here goes!

Day 1

Met jan @ 6:45am at my void deck. Den we went 2 tk cab to Golden Mile Complex. Picked up Jo on the way. Reached GMC arnd 7am. Proceed to collect all out vouchers and bus tix. Waited 4 Jo other 3 frenz to arrive. When dey arrived, we waited for 7:45 when we board our bus. But then, we waited til 7:50, the bus still nt open door yet. Ok, nvm, we wait again. It's said tat the bus leave @ 8am sharp, but we waited til 8:10am still can't board. Suddenly, the bus driver came and drive off the bus w/o us. All stunned dio lor... Nt only us waitin 4 tat bus, dere's many more lor. Den a few mins later, a lok kok lok kok bus came. I told my frenz, "Dun tell me we're getting on tat bus."

A few mins later, the 5 star ppl came and ask us to board tat lok kok bus!! Den we're like, oh no! nt tat! tat bus is really old and lan lor. But heng is tat it only took us to the custom only, haha. The ppl say our bus (which drove off earlier) gt prob at the customs, but will wait 4 us dere.

Nt only our bus de passenger took tat lok kok bus, but another bus de oso. When we reach SG custom, better safe dan sorry, i took everything down. Who noes tat the driver honest nt. N dere's so many ppl walking past, who noes any of em took anythin nt. After tat board tat lok kok bus again to M'sia custom. Dere, comfirm have to bring everything down, cuz change bus le. The staffs dere a bit slow movement lah, but den the one i gt nt bad lah. @ least he gt smile when he return my passport after he chopped, and when i say thank you.

In our grp, dere's some ang mos, and somehow we felt tat dey're being treated differently, so we made a joke saying tat we need to act more yang pai, so we will be treated a bit polietly, haha.

After the M'sia custom, we board the right bus. Finally, the bus we shld be taking. A 25 seater super vip bus, haha. The journey is abt 5 hrs to KL. We stopped @ a common stopover for a rest. It was only like 10:45am. After tat we we stayed in the bus 4 like 3+ hrs b4 we gt to our hotel.

When reach KL, the bus went to Capitol Hotel as 2ppl in our bus stayed dere. The bus driver stop @ the main road and asked the couple to walk to Capitol emselves, which is quite a distance lor. After tat, it went to Berjaya Times Square Hotel, the hotel we staying.

It's funny lor. The hotel lobby is @ the 14th floor one lor. We go up to 14th floor and checked in. As we were taking the lift up to our room, we culdn't press the floor. We stayed @ 19th floor. But we culd nt press tat floor. Finally other lift passenger told us to insert our card into the slot first b4 we press the floor. We're quite pai sae as it's our first time n it's like we're sooo sua gu.

We booked a brooklyn suite which consist of 2 bedrooms, 1 living room n 1 kitchen. When we went in, we walked into a tiny voyer. to the left is 1 bedroom with a door n a pinhole to look thru. in front of us is another door, oso wif a pinhole, it opens up to the main living room where another bedroom lies further in.

The room had quite a good scenery as we can @@ the twin tower frm tat bedroom.

After settling down, we went to the Indoor Theme Park. We're quite sua gu lor. After to gt the tix, we wanted to go down to the 5th floor as tat's where the adults games r @. We're currently @ lvl 7 where children game is. We wanted to take the lift, but den we punch 5, the lift took us to 1 n up again. We walk out of the lift n was so embarrassed. haha. We didn't noe dere's an entrance frm lvl 7. We went in frm dere, n dey're so niao lor. Strictly no bags. All bags must put in locker. No choice lor, we took 1 locker n throw everything in. Den we went on the rides. Most rides r all 360 degrees. dere's 1 particular ride tat throws u fwd n bwd in 360, fast speed some more. i took it wif jo's 3 frenz and by the time it ended, i came down super dizzy.

The last ride we took r the super rollercoaster. It goes super fast one, it's said to be 80km/hr. We had to take turns to ride as many of us pkts gt many small things like wallet, hps, later scared drop. We i n zhen went up first wif jo's 2 fren, while she n huiping stayed. Later, we came down n i took the ride 2nd time wif jo dey all. i sat wif jo, n huiping sat wif their other male fren who took the ride 2nd time as well.

After we all settled down, went to toilets, etc, we head to Chinatown. We took the monorail as Chinatown is only 2 stops frm our hotel. When we reach the stop, the door didn't open, n we're being taken to another stop. We gt immidiately n cross the platform to wait 4 the train to go back. Dis time the did open and we gt off @ the rite stop finally.

When we gt out, we're nt sure of which way to go and so coincidently dere's an ang mo couple heading to chinatown too, n dey gt the information frm a local n we followed em, haha. So coincidently, dey're on the same train as us n couldn't gt off the train. But dey're more intelligent. Dey stayed on the train as the stop we go off is the last 2nd one. So dey stayed and made a turn @ the nxt stop to come back. I n jan recognise the couple as dey were standing before us n we oso a little panick when the door culdnt open.

@ Chinatown, we squeezed thru many ppl to get to food. We ate steamboat n ordered fried rice, fried noodles n hotplate beancurd. Each person costs 21 bucks as dere's 6 if us. It's quite cheap lor. Finally after dinner, i gt wat i've been craving 4 a few yrs, Luo Han Guo drink wif longan. Tat drink is really good. If any of you go to Chee Qiong Gai in KL, remember to take tat drink. It's really refreshing n tasty. (HAHA, help do free commercials leh.) After tat, we went shopping. I n jan had told huiping n the rest abt giving jo a surprised party n dey agreed. Dey wanted to give jo surprised flowers n gt jan n i to lead jo off. I bought a watch, 2 pyjamas over dere. I wanted to buy a pair of sports shoe, but den none tat i like, so didn't buy. Jan bought a mickey bag, which she managed to cut the price into half. frm RM69 to RM30. haha.

When we got back to where we'd meet after we split up, dey produced jo a HUGE bouquet of flowers.

When we gt back to hotel it's like arnd 9:30pm. We went up to the hotel first, after tat, we decided we wanted to get sth, so jo, jan, huiping n i went down to the times sq shopping mall. We bought 2 tubs of ice cream. Initially we were looking @ the menu n saw a "1 tub (3 Galleons) RM 355. We're surprised how big is the tub, y cost so x. We asked the staff n found out tat tat 1 tub meant the whole tub of ice cream tat dey dig frm. We're stunned. N we asked em if dere's any small tub ones tat we can keep 4 a day or 2 or anything. In the end, we bought 2 pints of ice cream, 3 flavours in each pint. It costs us RM6o. After we got everything, we went back up and after we showered, we slept. We wanted to eat the ice cream, but we're too tired, we so left it 4 the nxt day.

DAY 2

We wanted to woke up early, or rather i wanted to woke up early to take a bath, but den, i culdnt. Tat was such a fine sleep. Thou dere's some disruption during the nite. 1st Jan pulled the blanket away frm me. Den she tried to push me out of the bed as she kept sleeping twd me leaving no more space. Nonetheless, it was a really great sleep. Huiping came to wake us up and after we woke up n gt prepared, we head down for breakfast. We wanted to take a bus to Genting initially, but in the end, we changed our mind and took a cab instead. We gt hotel to book 4 us n it costs us RM80 each cab. :(

The breakfast was rather fine, but nt really good. Only the omelette n nasi lemak is nice only. the rest is so-so only. After tat we went to the cab n off we go to Genting. The weather was super nice tat day. Once we hit the road, i can immediately see Genting frm the cab. The sky was super clear, only 1 or 2 clouds culd be seen in the sky.

The journey was relatively fine as it's gng uphill. The driver advise us nt to eat too full nor too oily later in the day as it's nt gng to be an easy ride. We gt off @ Genting hotel n walked towards the theme park. By the end of the day, i was totally sunburnt.

After the theme park, we went to the casino. It 's our first time visiting it, so it's was pretty awe to us, but it's pretty smoky n smelly dere. We took a walk arnd n finally settled on a table of Roulette. We stood dere looking at it as as we're abt to leave, we each said a number, but didn't place the bet. I bet on #6, while jo bet on 20 to 24 (i tink), huiping bet on #34. Finally, the wheel is spinning, the ball is rolling. it's slowing down, it's slowing down. it's #...............AH! initially the ball landed on #6, but it jumped and it landed on...... #34! Huiping really dui lor. I heard the bets on a solo # is pretty high lor... 1 to 35 i tink. Min bets is 20. If huiping place her bet, she'll get like 700 bucks lor. Haiz... really down luck. Den dey all nt gan xin, den went to another table n place a bet. but dis time everything kenna eat up. haha.

We wanted to take the cable car down n the bus back one, but when we wanted to leave, the fog is getting really huge. In the end we still ended up taking a cab down. As we passed thru the 1st world hotel, we can't even see the hotel. It totally disappeared into the fog. On the journey down, wa, the cabby is like entering Formuala One racing game like tat one. The cab was pratically FLYING! We went to Hard Rock Cafe to eat our dinner n bought some t-shirts dere. The dinner was relatively cheap. 1 fish n chips costs RM25 (i tink), n 1 lemonade costs RM7.50. All the servings were giant size one lor, so tat's y i said relatively cheap. It's really huge.

After dinner we went to the shop n i bought 2 t-shirts, while jan bought 1. Jo n i were surprised lor. the HRC shirt nt cheap lor, n jan's buying. More surprised is tat I have to buy size L, as tat is the size tat fits just nice. although i measured tat it'll be a bit loose, but wear le fits juz nice one lor. N i told jan tat she might need L too, but she insist tat L is too big 4 her n she bought M. I reaised an eyebrow, but no comment. After tat, we walked around a bit n finally we ended up @ Twin Towers. We went to the shopping mall n saw it's pratically all branded goods.

After a while, it's time to get back, we wanted to take the monorail home, but can't find, so we asked the security guards. The directions dey told us took us to a train, nt a monorail. Nvm, we eventually figured how to get back. We need to take 2 stops to another station n we have to walk a small distance to change to the monorail.

We bought the tix and we practically had a hard time digging out all our loose coins. We entered and wait 4 the train. It's like SG undergrnd MRT. As usual, we stood near the very end, tinking tat it'll have less ppl. When the train finally arrived, it went past us! the door tat we stood had nothing! No train! Where's the train? It's in the front n the last door is pratically 3 doors from us! We have to run to get to the last door. When we alight 2 stops down, we walk up to the ground and to our surprise, we're only 2 blocks down frm where we were! The twin towers stood tall in front of us! We're all stunned. What the f---! Waste our money to take the train when we can walk.

Nvm, we walked towards the monorail which is only in front of us in a short distance. As we walked, our rite was the road, n our left were all blocked up like building sth. Suddenly we saw a tree trunk protuding out of the metal block to the ground. It's like an elephant trunk sticking to the ground. As we walked twds the monorail, i realised tat we'd been soooo stupid! The monorail is only in front of Concorde Hotel, where HRC is! After all this while, we've been walking in a huge circle n ended up back to sq 1. Laughing @ our stupidity, we went back to our hotel. Jo's frenz made up an excuse to go to the supermkt while i, jan n huiping went to buy a cake.

Intending to give her a surprise, which turned out to be a flunk. When we brought the cake back, dey're already back in the room. When we tried to hide it, jo walked out and saw the cake. -.-"" Nt fun @ all. :( After we all showered, we had a small bdae celebration. We ate the cake, as we dun have napkins, we used the spoon we gt frm the ice cream parlour to dig the cake. It very disgusting lor, cuz hole here n dere, n it's in a total mess. We took out the ice cream we bought yesterday. We put it in the fridge only as the freezer is too small to contain the ice cream, we were hoping tat it would nt melt, cuz if it does, we'd have to drink shakes le. Luckily, it was still hard n soild. All of us were commenting on how fattening our supper were. A cake, n 2 pints of ice cream. HAHA. Zui nie shen zhong. I tink the ice cream, we bought too much berries de le, it's pretty sour. haha.

After tat, we wanted to watch a horror movie, but as i'm a coward, we went back to my room n tried to sleep. But their sound were getting so loud, i had to put on my ipod to block out any noise.

Finally when i started to dose off, jan came in n woke me up. After a while, jo came in too. Dey were falling asleep while watching the movie. Tat night, althou jan did not pull my blankets again, but she kept trying to push me off the bed. I pushed her back n she told me off. She told me tat Jo had slept too in n she had no more space.

DAY 3

Finally it's the day we're gng back. We woke up pretty late today n again, it was huiping who woke us up. After i bathed n dey gt ready, we went down to breakfast. it's arnd 10am when we got down. After we gt our food n were settling down to eat, a waitress walked arnd the room holding out a signage saying "Breakfast closes at 10:30am". We had to rush thru breakfast in order to get a 2nd round. Juz on cue, on exactly, 10:30, the light at the buffet table were switched off, n dey're all clearing up. While other were busying taking xtra helpings of food, we're busy taking xtra helpings of drinks! In the end, our table had like 18 cups of drinks.

After breakfast, we went to the supermarket to buy those food tat we wanted so we can put it in our bags as we pack. As the guy in our grp had nothing to buy, so he went up to the room to pack his bag first as he's the only 1 left tat had nt packed. After he left, we realised tat we do nt have to card thus we can't go up to our room, so we have to ask the guy to come down n fetch us.

After we packed our bags, we checked out and deposited our bags at the 1st floor and went shopping. When we checked out it was like 11am, n the bus will nt arrive til 2:30pm. We went to the highest floor and slowly gng down. As jo, huiping n i regretted tat we didn't buy the bag @ chinatown (due to jan's constant showing off), we went in search of the micky bag. Finally we found n it costs 10c cheaper dan jan's, HAHA. we bought a few more items and as I saw my LoTR FoTR xtended dvd, i wanted to buy. the price tagged on is supposedly to be RM169.90, but 3 pairs of eyes saw it as RM69.90. When I made payment n when i saw it was 100 more x, the staff showed me tat price n i saw carefully tat dere's a very very faint 1 in front of the 6.

Wa lao! the 1 is so faint, who can see it. After tat, we went to borders n i ended up buying RM100 over worth of books, which is only 4 books. I wanted to go to Esprit one, but nt enough time, n some more, no money liao. So I went back to meet up wif em @ the hotel. The bus finally arrived n we got up the bus. I had packed all the stuffs i bought into the mickey bag, so i ended up have 2 large bags to carry.

During halfway, we stopped over again @ the stopover. We went to buy those tu can, n i wanted to buy more de, but nt enough money liao, HAHA. So didn't buy very much. When we gt to the customs, i had to carry 3 huge bags.

Nonetheless, I have had the most most enjoyable trip, althou it's only KL. When i went to KL wif my parents, dey'd never did all these. those funny incidents tat we had, etc... Their only transportation is cab, cab n cab. Hopefully nxt time we can go much further away. Maybe like Bangkok, or Korea or Taiwan or Hong Kong. Hee Hee
