My bdae

Few days ago was my bdae... i'm soo happy!! haha...yeah! rite, thou i'd posted a brief detail tat day, but i;m posting a More detailed one now... haha... on 2 July, after i off work, arnd 9:30pm, i went to change into "pretty clothes" to get ready 4 my bdae celebrations. but den the skirt i brought actually had some problems wif it... so in the end, i broke the promise tat we all wear skirts. haiz... :(
After changing, i was too early. Jo and Jan still not off work yet. so i tot i'd walk to HMV to check out some cds. Meanwhile, Jo is planning a surprise 4 me which i didn't noe (it wouldn't be a surprise if i noe rite?) I met em @ HMV, and we started to walk to Cineleisure to watch "War of the Worlds". the movie is not bad... but i feel it's a bit disgusting, cruesome, yikes! but it's a bit short. and you actually need common sense to noe wat's the ending... you need to tink abt it to noe wat the ending is.... i dun tink tat's nice.... but it's a nice movie afterall... yeah...
After tat, we went to party world ktv, to sing our hearts out! after we settled in, Jo and Jan went make excuses to go to the toilet. i said i wanted to go along too... but dey say i'd to wait, dey have to go first.. all right, dey say dey wanted to go first, i let em go first... actually, dey went to take the cake n the bouquet of flowers tat dey already left it there earlier on. Meanhwhile, i didn'n noe anything abt it, so i carry on singing alone... haha... suddenly, Jan came back wif a bouquet of sunflowers in her hand, and followed by Jo, carrying a cake, both of em singing bdae song... i'm sooooo touched!!!! i almost burst into tears!!! really! after which, we ate the cake (we finished the whole 1/2 kg cake by ourselves) and continue to sing. Time really flies, soon it's 6 in the morning, and our singing session ended. We walk out of the ktv, the sky is still very dark, but there's cars on the road already.
We feel it's still early, we tot of gng to catch another movie as well, but, when we reach cineleisure, the ticket booth is not open... haha... we 3 foolish gals. in the end, we walk out of the building again, planning to go 4 breakfast. we had 2 choices, Coffee Club or Swensens. in the end we chose Swensens as we wanted to go ot an air-conditioned place. (coffee club is open air, btw) it's too early 4 breakfast, so we each ordered a cup of coffee to wake us up (we're feeling sleepy le thou). as their breakfast starts @ 6:30am, we waited til den to ask 4 a breakfast menu. Jo ordered an Amreican breakfast, while Jan ordered a Prawn Dumpling Spaghetti Soup, n i ordered a Chicken Congee. we sat there 4 like 3 hrs, b4 we ask 4 the bill and left. We decided to take a slow walk down to PS.
When we reach there, the shops r not open yet (those eateries r the only ones open). We went to a bench and sat down, trying to come up wif wat to do. little did we noe, we sat down there, feeling more n more tired. those plans we decided much much earlier on, like gng shopping, etc were all cancelled. we were feeling soooo sleepy, tat we could feel the bed in our own bedrooms. so we decided to go home first, if we wake up in later in the day, we'll den see if we wanted to go shopping.
But i couldn't sleep when i got home. after bathing i feel more alert. i have not slept since 8am on 2 july, and i dun even feel sleepy. i feel tat i couldn't sleep, so i watched the LoTR tat dey gave me. i did doze off a little (like 5 mins) during the show, but tat's it... oso, my cousin, who juz came back frm Belgium came to visit my grandma. she happen to see the flowers, and ask me abt it. so i tell her it's my bdae today, and she gave mi an angbao!! haha.... and oso, my neighbour, who is oso my lifetime best bud, actually remembered my bdae. i'm sooooo happy!! but oso guilty 4 not asking her to join in the celebration. i'm soooo sorry..... :(
@ arnd 4+, i msg Jo and she happen to wake up already. we talked and talked, in the end, we decided to come out n meet again to go shopping. i tried to call Jan, but she's a lazy pig, still not yet wake up. so i didn't ask her along. i met Jo @ Toa Payoh @ 6pm. we walked arnd, n bought many many stuffs. We went to Giordano, Hang Ten, Bossini, This Fashion, SnK, Baleno to see clothes.... in the end i bought like 6 tops n 2 bottoms, while Jo bought like 4 tops n 1 bottom. really da feng shou tat day... haha... den @ arnd like 9pm, we went back.
Wat a day it was 4 me! althou i have only 3 ppl to celebrate it wif me, i'm contented. it's more cosy tat way... haha.... i'm very sorry 4 not asking my best bud to join in, i'm very guilty, esp when she actually remember it. i did consider asking her along, but condisering tat we're gng to ktv, n she doesn't like it, so i didn't ask her along.... i'm soooo sorry xin, i promise u tat nxt yr when i celebraiting again, i'll ask u too.... no matter wat..... really.....
