New Semester

New semester has started.. i am taking as usual 3 modules. They are:
1) Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Marketing (HTTM)
2) Managing People in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Industries (MPH)
3) Hotel Operations Management (HOM)

this time rnd, 2 out of 3 lecturers had taught me b4 in Diploma course, n i feel tat they're gd..

lol, when there's a gd parts, bad part always tags along behind.. yes, there is in fact a bad part to this..

the bad part is tat the crazy maniac (which i nw nicknamed 'black fur') is back to daunt me.. super bad news is tat there'll be @ least 1 presentation for my assignment.. which means, yes, i have to listen to his yet another 'presidential talk' presentation; n he gt to listen n find trouble to mine.

how sia.. URGH!!

i told my frenz tat i have come to a decision since i 1st heard the presentation, though i still dunno what the topic is about, i will nt attend his presentation n there'll be absolutely no chance he'll find me trouble..

i noe tat i shldnt avoid like tat, but... ... ... ... ... ... i can't find any other way.. :P

so far, during class, we avoided each other, which is gd.. (here comes a but.. a HUGE) BUT i dunno if he's purposely or wanna find a long way rnd to shoot me or wat..

there's 1 lesson where we discussed abt customer service n singapore is voted the rudest service in the whole world (ha, imagine tat.. dunno is who make up for tat image).. he den go "yeah, singaporeans r the rudest.. blah, blah, blah.." i dun understand his accent n thus i dunno wat he saying..

den the lecturer ask if we agree with the following question "singaporeans say tat it's the foreign workers tat make up the bad image." the black fur goes, "blah, blah, blah, it's all their excuses.. they r trying to blame others, blah, blah, blah.."

well, the lecturer (he's foreigner, frm india) alr said to an extent he agree.. like those blangadesh, indians, mainlanders.. where dey have no manners at all.. yes, he agreed to tat sentence.. cuz there's evidence to tat..

den he said he tinks tat maybe it's due to those foreign workers snatching our bowls of rice for lesser amt n we nt happy or sth like tat..

den the black fur goes like "no, it nt, it's cuz those singaporeans tink too high of themselves tat dey dun wan to do all those jobs tat's y the company hire foreign workers.." n things like tat..

obviously he's discriminating singaporeans.. right? so wat he has a lawyer degree.. so wat he's an ex-lawyer (n i stress the word EX, E-X) lawyer.. the fact tat he's nw in SINGAPORE, the home of SINGAPOREANS, studying HOSPITALITY, means tat he's an useless EX-lawyer..

if u so dislike singaporeans, y come to singapore at all?!?! u can go back to yer home country n rot there!!

sometimes i wonder if his lawyer degree is a fraud.. maybe he's nt a lawyer at all.. maybe he's a nobody or worse, an ex-convict, or even worse, a terrorist.. i heard tat nwadays the terrorists consists of professionals such as doctors n lawyers..

nw i come to tink of it, i really supect his law degree is a fraud.. if u studied law n practiced it, i'm sure you can speak very well.. i mean public speech, you sure can handle it well.. if you are required to speak for 3 minutes, you shld be able to do it with no problem @ all.. Rite? i'm sure it is.. aint lawyers good @ talking?

well, ast semester, we hv a session wif Dr Mike Cope (our acadamic director) n he gave us 3 minutes each to talk abt ourselves, as if we attending an interview..

well, when it was his turn, he was stumped! he couldnt talk! n he appeared nervous, cold sweat breaking out! kept wiping his forehead wif the back of his hand..

so base of this alone, i really really suspect he's never gt a law degree.. he was never a lawyer..

well, anyway, like i said, if u dun cross my path, i will nt cross yers.. so STAY OUT OF MY PATH!!

HaHa.. long time never post le.. well.. today i'm goin to rant abt sth.. y tat headingu may ask.. cuz tat's the name i'll give him.. let me tell u a story.........

there's this idiot in my class, he's frm india.. he gt his lawyer degree in india.. i dun noe y he's studyin again.. anyway, he in my higher dip class.. yesterday (which is 4/12/2008) he had his group presentation.

when he was presenting, the way he present makes everyone ( n i mean every single one in the class) laugh.. of course tat includes me. i dunno how to describe the way he presents, but the mose appropriate way is "he's like someone in run for president n have those talks trying to pull votes." yes, well, tat's the best possible way i try to describe. well, everyone in the class laughed.. but.............

u noe wat, after the class ended, he CAME TO ME ASKING Y I LAUGHED @ HIM JUZ NOW!!! wat the fuck man!!!!! i'm so pissed off lah... den he kept repeating.. "it's yer presentation tml rite? it's yer presentation tml rite?" den of course i shot back saying "so wat if i'm presenting tml" den.... due to his super heavy accent, i totally dun understand wat he said after tat... haha

anyway... immediately he n ANOTHER MANIAC started talking in their own language... their voice kept getting louder n louder n louder... but i'm 100% sure they're talkin abt me... y? cuz dey kept saying tat girl ah... tat girl ah... tat girl ah... den dey kept pointing to me... hmpt! dun tink u're talking in yer own language i dun understand u fucking idiot!!

anyway.. me n my grp members noe tat today (5/12/2008) during our presentation, he'll surely find fault with us, or rather me... so... let me continue wif today's story....

as wif last few days, we met early in the morning to do last minute preparation... the lesson start @ 1.30, so we prepare til exactly tat time. i was saying to my grp members tat i hope we'll be the 1st grp to prepare, so the lec will nt allow too many questions as there's still 2 more grp to present. as luck would have it, we're... lucky #1... yeah..

yeah, so when 1 of the grp members walked to the front to prepare the powerpoint slides, there's a slight funny incident.. it was then the MANIAC B said sth rubbish.. he said "i dun wan to see these. y r u showin us this." then to prevent anymore incident, the grp member turned off the projector. when everything was ready, when we tried to turn on the projector, it gt stucked.. it won't on.. then the same MANIAC said, "it's their fault. they turned off the projector. nw it can't be turned on."

but as luck was on our side, the projector finally turned on... then we started our presentation... b4 we start, the stupid idiot was initially sitting somewhere near the back.. but, when we started, he moved all the way to the front. he listened intently n wrote down super lot of questions. we can see he was very busy writing.. writing wat, we duno la ah, we assume it's questions...

so when it my turn to present (i'm presenting marketing strategy) he listened even more intently.. i saw he even approached the lec asking if he can ask any questions later.. i heck care him, n continue my presentation...

so..................................

after our presentation, when lec asked if there's any questions, he put up his hand immediately. n b4 he even start asking, he said..... "i wan the person who is responsible for the slides i'm asking to ans the question. who is responsible for doing the marketing strategy" den i was like huh... wat the hell r u talking.. den my grp member replied tat, this is the team's work so everyone was involved in the marketing strategy.

DEN..............

he commented (nt asking a question, mind u).... he commented tat marketing strategy is nt abt advtising channels.. it is abt dunno wat shit *can't understand his accent la* den my grp member replied, ya... advertising IS PART OF marketing strategy... he's like wanna fight like tat kept saying tat, no, it's nt marketing strategy. obviously he's trying to find me trouble rite.... den the lec already realised tat he's starting to create trouble, shussed him up...

WAT THE FUCK LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TO HELL MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aft the presentation, during break time, we went to buy food as we didnt eat anything b4 the presentation... the grp members went separate ways to buy food, n when i bought my food n met up with the rest, dey told me, juz nw only a moment ago, dey saw tat stupid idiot n he was the one who approached them 1st... he said he didnt mean to be so mean to us juz nw during presentation.. n he said he's sorry... he said the reason he's doin tat was cuz i laughed @ him during his presentation n hes feelings was hurt... wat the hell man, as if i'm the only laughing @ him.... fuck him man... sorry for wat... sorry no cure... wat is done cannot be undone... sorry oso no use... hell to him man...

who does he tink he is... so wat he's a lawyer... no wonder he can't get a job as a lawyer n hafta change his field... i'm sure, even he graduated from this course, he oso will nt get a job... u noe y he come to singapore to study, he said a lawyer in india can't earn much... say who man... muz be his problem if he can't earn much as a lawyer...

luckily, i wont be seeing him frm nxt semester onwards... cuz this is his last semester... i tink... n tat maniac as well...

well, tat maniac B's story, i dun tink it's wise to post here.. in case it landed on unwanted hands.. if u wanna noe the story abt maniac B (which i tink u shld) let me noe n i'll tell u....

For those who dunno who speed is.. they are a 4-girl japanese pop group who are super duper famous during the late 90s. It is made up of Hiroko Shimabukuro, Eriko Imai, Takako Uehara and Hitoe Arakaki. Their sales record til now has yet to be broken.

Their 1st single "Body and Soul" received great response on the it's release. Below are their full single listings:

In 2003, they reunite again for another charity called Save the Children. This time round, they reunite and held a concert which went on for a month long. They released a album and 2 singles.

In Aug 2008, the girls appeared on a 24 Hours Charity TV Program. It was on that program that SPEED announced they will be rebanding for @ least a forseeable future. Their latest single 'Ashita no Sora' will be released in 12 Nov 2008!!

Other than their high single sales, the girls also went have had remarkable concert performance. After their 1st album was released, they had a concert called SPEED-First Live in 1997.

Their 2nd concert was titled TOUR RISE in 1998. It was a countrywide DOME tour which was considered the biggest feat even til now, as they were the youngest artistes to hold a successful concert in all the DOME.

Their 3rd n final concert in 1999 was titled Final DOME Tour, which they visited all the 4 DOMEs again during this tour.

In 2001, they had a charity concert which was for 1 nite only.

In 2003, they reunite for another charity concert called Save the Children Project, which the concert went on for a month long.

Their albums Starting Over, RISE, Moments and Carry on my Way had reached Number 1 in Oricon charts, while the others, Dear Friends 1, Dear Friends 2, One more Dream + Remix, Bridge and Save the Children Live were in the ranks of 4th, 3rd, 7th, 9th and 15th respcetively.

After releasing the 2nd album RISE, the girls decided to give acting a try and thus the movie Andromedia came out. It was for that movie that SPEED recorded the single 'Alive' as the theme song.

Til now, no one has ever beaten their record for sales and for being the youngest artistes to complete a DOME tour.

I am nw eagerly waiting for the release of the single... i cant wait to lay my hand on the cd!!!

Oh my god! isn't this a real beauty?!?! every since i saw this bus on mtv "pimp my ride", i fell in love with it. yes, this is the 1966 volkswagen micro bus. this bus was produced frm 1949 til 1967.
This is a very spacious bus, you can have seats inside, which is like a tour bus, or you can pimp it n it is like a mini "house" w/i the bus. like below:

I absolutely love pic 6..... the owner of the car pimped her bus really beautifully. i absolutely love it.. in the future if i get my hands on this micro bus, i definitely wanna pimp my ride into something like that. HaHaHa.....

1st drive

HaHa... Yesterday i had my 1st drive in my father's bmw... HaHa... Well, actually nt really 1st time drive, my actual 1st drive is the saturday b4 last where i drove home from my aunt's hse...

Tat was a real disaster.. HaHa.. 1st disaster was @ a cornering when i'm gng out to the main street frm the car park. Didn't turn the steering wheel enough.. HaHa.. 2nd time was worse.. I was @ my hse when i was turning into the carpark. I didn't slow down enough when turning.. HaHa.. Den my father got scared and pull the hand brake.. HaHa... Oops..

Well, yesterday, we're gng to Giant @ tampines... My father wanted me to drive all the way there, but i rejected.. Then, i dunno y... he drove drove drove n halfway @ the industury park, he stopped n got me to drive... So well, i drove, n althou it's a good experience, @ least i get to drive on a highway... HaHa... But, for a new driver, it's still ok, but, really..... i'm the slowest driver n imagine for a bmw, the famous for it's horsepower.. HaHa.. mine is the slowest bmw ever on the road... HaHa... even the cabbie r faster than me la.... HaHa...

All in all, the experience is good, and i hope to get more driving... HaHa...
